The American Revival Study Tour 2027 is a 21-day Christian Study Tour, discipleship and mission experience in Southern California, designed to help participants learn from revival history, experience faith in action, grow through biblical teaching and discipleship, and return home equipped to serve. The journey begins with preparation in Sweden, continues through 21 intensive days of learning and serving in California, and carries on after returning home through follow-up, reflection, and encouragement to put what we have learned into practice.

Prepare – Before We Go

The journey begins before we leave Sweden. Through preparation and training, participants will be introduced to revival history, discipleship, prayer, team building, and practical ministry. We want to arrive in California not simply as visitors, but prepared to learn, participate, serve, and grow together. This preparation also gives the team an opportunity to build relationships, pray together, and understand the purpose behind the places and ministries we will encounter.

Learn – Discover Revival History

Throughout the journey, we will visit places connected to some of the most significant movements in modern Christian revival history, including Azusa Street and Bonnie Brae House. We don't want to simply visit historic locations. We want to understand what happened, learn from those who have gone before us, and explore what revival history can teach us about prayer, faith, obedience, mission, and dependence on God today. Biblical teaching is woven throughout the program, helping participants connect what they encounter with Scripture and their own walk with Jesus.

Live – Put Faith Into Practice

What we learn is meant to be lived. Alongside teaching and historical study, participants will experience churches and ministries across Southern California through worship gatherings, prayer meetings, ministry visits, and conversations with Christian leaders. There will also be opportunities to serve alongside local ministries through outreach, evangelism, and practical service. Rather than only observing what others are doing, we want participants to experience what it means to pray, serve, share their faith, and live on mission together.

Grow – Community, Reflection & Renewal

Living, learning, praying, worshipping, and serving together for 21 days creates something that cannot be experienced in a classroom alone. Shared everyday life provides space for deeper conversations, discipleship, encouragement, and friendships that can continue long after the journey ends. The program also includes intentional time for rest and reflection. California's coastline and natural beauty provide opportunities to slow down, process what we are learning, spend time with God, and enjoy life together.

Send – Bring It Home

The journey does not end when the flight leaves California. After returning to Sweden, participants will have opportunities for follow-up, reflection, and continued encouragement. The goal is to help turn inspiration into action and encourage participants to put what they have learned into practice. We want participants to return home with a deeper relationship with Jesus, a greater understanding of God's Word and revival history, practical experience of ministry, and a renewed desire to serve faithfully in their churches and communities.

We want to equip and inspire a new generation to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, understand what God has done throughout history, engage with what He is doing through His Church today, and live faithfully on mission wherever He has placed them.
