About Revival Study Tours

Revival Study Tours is a non-profit organization based in Gothenburg, Sweden, founded in the spring of 2026. As a newly established ministry, our initial focus is on creating opportunities for young people living in Sweden to participate in our study tours, training events, and other gatherings.

Our Vision

We believe that God uses encounters, relationships, and shared experiences to shape lives, strengthen faith, and prepare people for His purposes.

Our vision is to equip and inspire the next generation through study tours, training weekends, seminars, conferences, and authentic Christian community. Whether through a three-week study tour, a weekend of teaching, or an evening gathering, every opportunity shares the same purpose: to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, deepen their understanding of God's Word, and encourage them to live out their faith in everyday life.

A Story That Inspired a Vision

In 2016, the life of one of our founders, Ann-Charlotte Bjurbäck, changed forever. Years of trauma and struggle eventually led her to fall to her knees with one desperate prayer: "God, if You are real, show Yourself."

That prayer marked the beginning of a journey of healing, hope, and restored faith.

Seven years later, a family trip to California to explore the history of the Jesus Movement became a life-changing encounter with God. It brought complete healing, renewed purpose, and the vision that would become Revival Study Tours.

Today, our passion is to create opportunities for others to encounter God, grow in their faith, learn from the global Church, and return home equipped to serve their local churches and communities.

Our goal

Our desire is to create opportunities where people encounter God, grow as disciples, build authentic Christian community, and return home encouraged, equipped, and ready to serve in their local churches and communities.

  • Encourage spiritual growth through biblical teaching, worship, prayer, service, and authentic Christian community.
  • Learn from history and be inspired by what God is doing today, without seeking to copy any particular movement, ministry, or church.
  • Build lasting relationships across generations, cultures, and Christian traditions.
  • Equip participants to faithfully serve and strengthen their local churches and communities.
  • Make these opportunities accessible to as many young people as possible by reducing financial barriers through partnerships, sponsorships, and generous supporters.

What Makes Revival Study Tours Different?

We believe that meaningful growth happens when biblical teaching, authentic Christian community, practical experience, and international perspectives come together. Our study tours are intentionally designed to equip, inspire, and strengthen participants in ways that extend far beyond the journey itself.

Authentic Learning

Every study tour is carefully designed to combine biblical teaching, revival history, discipleship, prayer, worship, practical ministry, and meaningful encounters with Christian leaders and believers from around the world. Rather than simply learning about these topics, participants experience them firsthand through shared life, ministry, and authentic Christian community.

United Across Churches

Revival Study Tours is intentionally non-denominational and is not affiliated with any single church or Christian movement. We seek to build bridges across the wider Body of Christ, learning from different traditions while remaining firmly rooted in Scripture and centred on Jesus Christ. Our goal is to inspire unity, mutual learning, and a deeper appreciation for the global Church.

Growing Together

Whenever possible, we encourage participants to travel with one or more people from their local church. Shared experiences often become the beginning of something much greater, making it easier to encourage one another and continue growing together after returning home. Our desire is for every participant to strengthen—not replace—the ministry of their local church and community

Equipped to Make a Difference

Our study tours are designed as short-term mission experiences that are both practical and accessible. We want every participant to return home with fresh vision, stronger faith, meaningful relationships, and practical tools to serve wherever God has called them. Through sponsorships and partnerships, our long-term vision is to make these life-changing opportunities available to as many young people as possible.

One Faith. Many Backgrounds. One Purpose.

We welcome Christians from different churches, denominations, and backgrounds who share a desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. While we are not connected to one specific church or denomination, we are deeply committed to strengthening the wider Body of Christ.

Our vision is to equip and encourage believers so they can return home and faithfully serve within their own local churches and communities. We believe that when individuals are strengthened in their faith, the local church is strengthened as well.

Whenever possible, we encourage churches and ministries to send two or more participants together. Sharing the journey with someone from your own church creates opportunities for continued encouragement, accountability, and growth long after returning home.

Our values

Rooted in Scripture. Focused on Jesus. Committed to serving others.

Everything we do is shaped by biblical values. We seek to create an environment where faith grows, relationships deepen, and people are equipped to follow Jesus in everyday life. Our desire is not simply to inspire for a moment, but to encourage a lifelong walk with Christ.
